Tide x Praline, the Rivers litter

Eight puppies, four boys and four girls, all of them black. That is what the genetics said would happen: Praline is chocolate, Tide is black and does not carry chocolate, so every puppy is black and every one carries chocolate. We posted that before the breeding, and we had the conversation more than once anyway. It was a very even litter, with good bone, good coats and calm temperaments across the board. They were swimming in the pool at five weeks and followed Praline into the creek at seven. They went home at the end of April to South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida. One is training for junior hunt tests and one goes to work each day at a fly shop in Charleston.
