Skip

Skip is a rich medium yellow, darker over the ears, with a broad, clean head and the best coat in the house: dense, a little harsh to the hand, and dry again ten minutes after he leaves the water. His hips came back Excellent. He is our dock dog. He has a Dock Junior title and a habit of launching off anything with an edge, including, once, a friend's moving pontoon boat. Most of his dock photos come from the week we spend each summer at a friend's lake house in the upstate, where he has a whole dock to himself. On land he is gentle and somewhat lazy, and he is very good with puppies that are not his own. Skip is yellow, which genetically means e/e, and he does not carry chocolate. Bred to another yellow he can only produce yellow. His puppies so far have had his coat and his easy way with people.
