Pearl

Pearl is named for the mud she came home wearing at ten weeks old, and she has not changed much. She is a compact black girl, Skip's half sister, with a short, thick coat, a lovely otter tail and more drive than anyone else in the house. She marks a fall like a field dog and brings it back like a show dog, at a trot with her head up. She is also the first to settle when the day is done. Pearl is black and carries both yellow and chocolate. She is an EIC carrier, which has no effect on her and is common in the breed. She is bred only to dogs that test clear, so her puppies cannot be affected. Her pairing with Tide this autumn will be her first litter.
